Privacy and processors

Services that receive personal data

  • Hosting

    Render

    Runs the Sociify API, which handles every account, store and order request.

    When: Always.

  • Database

    Neon (Postgres)

    Stores accounts, stores, orders, payment and payout records, and support cases.

    When: Always.

  • Payments and payouts

    Stripe

    Takes buyer card payments and holds creator payout accounts. Card and bank details are entered on Stripe pages and stay with Stripe; Sociify keeps references and amounts.

    When: When live payments or payouts are enabled.

  • Email

    Resend

    Sends account, order and support emails, and reports whether they were delivered.

    When: When email sending is enabled.

  • Push notifications

    Expo push service, Apple and Google

    Delivers notifications to the creator app. Receives the device token and the notification text; the notification carries ids, not order details.

    When: When a creator allows notifications on their device.

  • File storage

    S3-compatible object storage (provider to be confirmed)

    Stores store logos, banners and profile photos uploaded by creators.

    When: When cloud media storage is configured.

  • Warehouse and shipping

    Fulfillment partner (not yet contracted)

    Would receive the items and delivery address of paid orders to pack and ship them, and report tracking.

    When: Only once live fulfillment is enabled; not active today.

Not shared

  • No AI vendor: Ask Eya in the creator app answers from built-in content; conversations are not sent to a third party.
  • No advertising or tracking networks on the storefront.

Delete a Sociify account

Creators can delete their account in the app under Profile, Privacy. Without the app, request deletion here.
